Nomads are extremely proud of both John Oakman and Caleb Cottom who have recently been selected into the Canterbury United Men's squad for the 2020/21 ISPS Handa National League season.

John (16) and Caleb (17) are two of the youngest players in our MPL squad and have been really impressive when playing for Nomads this year. John is also currently training with the New Zealand U17's at regional and national training camps and is competing for selection into the 2021 world cup squad.

Nomads has a strong history of promoting its Youth players into the Senior teams as we believe that it is important to be able to provide young players with the best pathway possible to help develop their football. For this reason you will see many of our young players making the transition into our Senior teams, all trying to play the same positive and attractive brand of football that Nomads is known for.

Well done to both of you, we're looking forward to seeing you represent Canterbury over the summer!
