Nomads United Football Club was established in 1910 and is one of the oldest and largest football clubs in New Zealand. We believe in providing quality, affordable football for all where everyone can play and enjoy football at any level, regardless of their age, skill, gender or ethnicity. 

 

We are looking to expand our operations and have several paid and volunteer, part-time roles available.

KIT CO-ORDINATOR - (VOLUNTEER)

​

Join the Nomads United AFC volunteer team and help keep our players looking sharp on the pitch!

Do you have great organisation skills, a love for spreadsheets, or just enjoy being part of the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps our club running? Then this volunteer role could be for you!

 

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Coordinating kit collection and returns at the beginning and end of the season

  • Helping with sizing and distributing kits to players at the start of the year

  • Assisting with ordering new playing kits in time for the upcoming season

  • Keeping track of stock and working alongside our staff to ensure teams have what they need

 

Time Commitment:

  • Busy periods: Start and end of season (Feb–March & Sept–Oct)

  • Quieter months: Occasional check-ins and communication with coaches or the committee

​​STRENGTH & CONDITIONING COACH – (PART-TIME)

Nomads United AFC is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Strength and Conditioning Trainer to work within our high-performance environment. 

 

The successful candidate will primarily focus on developing and monitoring the physical capabilities of our premier team athletes, as well as contributing to the Nomads Academy programmes. This role requires expertise in designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs tailored to the needs of high performance football players.
