OUR FACILITIES
Our Club facilities are something Nomads United AFC are very proud of. They are one of the largest of all football clubs in Christchurch. Tulett Park has numerous pitches that cater for all of our grades. Our Club facilities include three senior pitches, four junior pitches and two intermediate pitches as well as both home and away changing rooms, showers, separate male and female bathrooms, huge upstairs clubrooms, numerous seating, a kitchen, a bar fitted with bar leaners and stools. There is also plenty of both on and off-street parking.
If you require further training grounds or need to know the address of a ground for your next game, the link below provides you with a list of all football grounds and their locations in Christchurch. Please refer below for Park Closure Information.
Park Closure Information
Given that Football is a winter sport, there will always be the risk of bad weather occurring and therefore creating damp grounds. Nomads United AFC kindly ask the team Coaches and Managers to be pro-active and check the Christchurch City Council website via the link below when the weather looks rather questionable.
Nomads United AFC have a flag system which is utilized when the pitches are unable to be used due to wet grounds or as a prevention strategy for further damage. If the red flag is flying at Tulett Park, the park is out of bounds so please refrain from using the park for training. If the flag is not flying and the grounds are still relatively damp, we ask that you please train off to the side of the pitches or make the call to train elsewhere.
If we end up with a continual wet winter season, it will mean that teams may need to look at alternative training grounds, which does occur during some seasons. If you need some assistance finding somewhere appropriate to train, please contact us on admin@nomadsafc.org and we can help you with this.
