Nomads are pleased to announce the launch of our U11-U12 'Pre-Academy'. Constant innovation and improvement is at the forefront of Nomads United AFC as we are continually searching for ways to better develop and provide opportunities for Nomads players. 11-12 years is part of the ‘golden age’ of learning both technically and tactically for any footballer.  This programme is aimed to accelerate the player’s development and unlock a higher potential as they advance toward Youth and Senior football at Nomads.​ 

The pre-academy is centered around a holistic approach with the aim of developing both the person and the player. The pre-academy is designed and coached by our Technical Director Fernando Lambert alongside our Football development officer JD Dennen. The pre-academy teams will train 3x per week; 1x Nomads PLUS+, 1x Futsal (term two/three only) and 1x team-specific training. The teams will also play together on a Saturday in the A-Band divisions of Mainland Football 11th & 12th Grade. For team-specific trainings and gamedays, the teams will be coached by volunteer coaches under the guidance of the Nomads football department.
