Team Selection Process:
You must be registered with Nomads in order to be placed into a team. If you register but do not trial you will still be placed into a team. We will do our best to place all players into a team however we cannot guarantee placement. In the event that we cannot place you in a team you will be provided a full refund of your membership fees.
Training Days/Times:
Our volunteer coaches will run training sessions at times that best suit their schedules. Once players have been placed into teams the coaches will be in touch to communicate things such as training times, training venues, etc. The club relies on volunteer parents/coaches to manage the majority of our teams. If you are able to help out please email admin@nomadsafc.org
NOTE: New Zealand Football classifies every player in a year to be of that age: eg. 2016 birth dates 01Jan-31Dec are all classified as 10th Grade.
10th GRADE:
In line with guidelines from Mainland Football and New Zealand Football, we will not be holding general trials for these age groups. For 10th Grade, players wishing to be considered for our three A-Band teams will be required to trial - Trial dates can be found HERE.
11th GRADE:
Players wishing to be considered for our three A-Band Pre-Academy teams will be required to trial. Please read Pre-Academy information HERE and ensure that you have registered an expression of interest.
GIRLS-ONLY TEAMS:
Girls-only teams are available for 9th and 11th grades.
*Note: Girls are welcome to play in our mixed teams with male players and can play down one age group if they wish to.
