NW United is proud to continue leading the way in creating positive, high-quality football experiences for young players across our community. In 2026, we are excited to strengthen our partnership with Waimakariri Football Club as we work together to grow opportunities for girls in the game.
With both clubs committed to inspiring confidence, participation, and development, this collaboration brings together shared values, strong coaching programmes, and a genuine passion for supporting the next generation. From our girls-only 5-a-side competitions to expanded pathways throughout the season, NW United and Waimak are united in providing a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment where every player can shine.
Together, we look forward to delivering a bigger, better, and more connected football experience for girls across North-West Christchurch in 2026 — and we can’t wait to welcome even more players and families into our community.
Players from both clubs will train together to field the strongest team for these competitions. These teams will play under a dual logo and be named NW UNITED and create a development pathway for female players at our club.
Home games will alternate between both clubs; Waimakariri United – Kendall Park or Rangiora Showgrounds; Nomads United – Tulett Park.
