What do my subs pay for?

Nomads United AFC is an Incorporated Society with a constitution that sets out our structure, membership and other important rules. Our club must run like a business as we are registered for GST and must comply with requirements for GST, PAYE, ACC, Health and Safety, etc.  ​Our income from player membership fee does not cover all our expenses.

Running a club of 1000+ members is challenging and we rely on other sources of income e.g. grant funding, football programmes, sponsorship and fundraising to enable us to provide "quality, affordable football for all". We also rely heavily on volunteers to help coach our teams and help run the Club. 

Social Media: It's common Club practice to share photos of players attending our sessions on our social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. If you do NOT want your child to be included in these photos on our socials, please advise the club in writing by emailing: admin@nomadsafc.org.

Scorching Goal Fund:The Scorching Goal Football Fund has been established to assist children and youth attending primary or secondary school, aged between 5 years and 18 years who are from financially disadvantaged families or backgrounds, and where finance is a barrier to participation, either at club level, across development programmes or at representative level.

This is not a fund established to specifically support talented players but is rather about providing children and youth with the opportunity to continue to participate in football.
