Tulett Park Training Calendar
As a growing club there is more demand than ever on the field usage at Tulett Park. We now run a training calendar for the usage of our senior fields which are being utilized by our mens, ladies and youth teams, along with the Skills & Talent Centres.
As floodlights are a requirement for some teams, scheduling is essential. The calendar is working well and we are minimizing any training conflicts. If you have questions regarding the calendar or want to make a booking, please contact Megan, our Club Administrator on
JJ1, J2, J3 and I1 - Juniors/Youth Teams Training
Junior and youth teams have started some weekday training, and we would ask you to utilize the junior fields at the southern end of Tulett Park. There is plenty of room and you are welcome to use the junior portable goals if they are available. Teams may choose to train at an alternative park during the weekdays – Bishopdale, Nunweek, Grant Armstrong or St James parks are just some of the options available. This is on a first in first served basis, we do not require bookings for this.
S1 - Main League Pitch (new sand-based turf)
You would have noticed that the pitch is currently yellowed and there is now some repair work required in the goal mouth at the Claridges Road end. The club is working hard to preserve the condition of the pitch, while working with the Council on our requirements and concerns. With the MPL season having now commenced it is important to have this field in good condition for it to survive throughout the season. This pitch should only be used for trainings by those teams who have booked it.
S2, S3 – Senior Trainings
Trainings on S2 and S3 are as per bookings only from 3:30pm-9pm weekdays. Please do not use these grounds unless you have a training time scheduled on the calendar.
Use of Portable Goals
We are very lucky to have several sets of portable goals! We do ask that users are considerate and return/move goals well off the fields to the boundary edges of the park when you are finished.
Winter Training Cancellations/Closures – Wet Weather Options
It’s a good time to remind teams to think about an alternative weekday training venue or activity, as we do experience park closures during the winter season due to weather conditions. If the park is closed you will see a red flag on the balcony of the clubrooms, this means the fields are closed.
