MAINLAND PREMIER LEAGUE
We are proud to once again confirm Andrew Pitman as our Head Coach for the Nomads United First Team. Andy and his team including Matt Jansen and Marcus Beaton offer players one of best coaching environments in the South Island and are keen to see all interested players at the open trainings for the 2020 season in January at Tulett Park.
Training is scheduled for 7 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Sundays training sessions early in preseason. Five friendlies are scheduled, with a home game confirmed against Cashmere Technical and a second home game on the 16 Feb to be confirmed.
Nomads has a strong history of promoting its Youth players into the Senior teams as we believe that it is important to be able to provide young players with the best pathway possible to help develop their football. The open trainings will provide a good opportunity to be involved and for players to be able to test themselves to see if they have what it takes to step up to this level.
