13th Grade is for boys and girls born in 2007. We have mixed teams and girls only teams. Please let us know when you register if you wish to be placed in a girls only team.

Subs for the season are $190
You must register and pay prior to 25th February 2020 to be placed in a team.
13th grade players are graded. We have both competitive and social grades. If you wish to be placed in a competitive team you must attend trials in February. We would encourage all players to attend as it is good chance to get some football in before the start of the season!
All sessions will be held at Tulett Park.
Players are to wear shinguards and football boots and have a drink bottle with them! If its hot don't forget to wear your sunscreen.
Trials will be run by our Football Development Staff, Matt Jansen, Fernando Lambert and JD Dennen.
You do not need to register to attend our trials but you MUST register with the club prior to 25th February 2020 to be placed in a team.
If you were a Talent Centre player for Nomads in 2019, you only need to attend 2 out of the 4 trials for your age group.
If you wish to play in a girls only team, please attend the girls only trials, all other trials are for mixed teams.
Please only attend the trial for your correct age/grade in 2020.

NZ Football Talent Centre for 13th Grade
Nomads United are accredited to run an NZ Football Talent Centre for 13th Grade in 2020.
This programme provides players with a professional environment to train and develop their football with professional and NZF 'B' and 'C' Licence accredited coaches.
Talent Centres are aimed to accelerate the player’s development and unlock a higher potential as they advance toward Youth and Senior football at Nomads. The programme will also focus on the Nomads values and football philosophy/playing style which stems from our First Team through to all our Junior and Youth members. This gives our players the best chance of succeeding at Senior level, Canterbury United and beyond! We also include specialised goal keeper training with Ricardo Rodriquez in our programme on a Monday evening.
If you would like to be considered for our Talent Centre Programmes in 2020 you must attend open trainings/trials in February 2020 on the dates listed above.
If selected for the 13th Grade Talent Centre you will play in the Premier Youth League (YPL).
There will be a maximum number of 18 players invited into each Talent Centre grade.
Players will be selected and invited into the Talent Centre programme after the open training's.
This programme runs for a minimum of 30 weeks and will involve a minimum of 90 contacts and 20 games.
All players who are not selected into the Talent Centre programme are still eligible to play for a Nomads United AFC team.
Talent Centres begin with training's on the 4th and 5th of March and an Information Evening for players and parents on Friday 6th March and run through to Wednesday 7th October 2020.
The Talent Centre Programme costs $1055 (incl gst) per player if paid in full. This also includes entry into the CIC Cup in July 2020.
Talent Centre teams also have the opportunity to attend the South Island Tournament at an additional cost.

Trainings: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Time: 5.15pm - 6.30pm
Game: Saturdays 9.15am kick-off
All Talent Centre players are required to register with Nomads United AFC and pay the applicable registration fee for 2020 of $190. Registration to the Club must be completed by 25th February 2020.
Uniform: Players will be given a login to our Ultra Football website to purchase a Talent Centre training top and shorts. This is compulsory for all players. The training top and shorts are blue. Playing footwear, shin guards and red socks are compulsory.
Invitations will be sent out by Friday 28th February 2020 and players must accept or decline the invitation no later than 12 noon on the 4th March 2020. Talent Centre fees are able to be paid in three installment in March, April and July if selected and details of these will be sent out to you in the invitation.
Scorching Goal Football Fund
The Scorching Goal Football Fund has been established to assist children and youth attending primary or secondary school, aged between 5 years and 18 years who are from financially disadvantaged families or backgrounds, and where finance is a barrier to participation, either at club level, across development programmes or at representative level.
This is not a fund established to specifically support talented players but is rather about providing children and youth with the opportunity to continue to participate in football.
